Hey Mates,

Been quite sometime since I posted an entry. Anyway, this will be a short one too until maybe next week or so where we go for our outing this weekend. I'll be back in about 10 days time and the Vietnam gang will be back next Friday. Hopefully, will be able to catch up with my MP which is already in Week 2 now... kinda vexing that both major subject crashed at the same time for me.

Another 2 of my coursemate, Shellen and Wanqi came over on Monday for their OSIP. They were lucky that their Australian visas were not delayed like mine and got to come here early. They will be here at University of Queenland till Feb 20th 2009, spending 4 major holidays in Australia. They are supervised under a different Professor and doing on different projects involving PHP, Adobe Flex, and Adobe AIR.

Will post another entry soon... I guess.

Hello~
Its now currently a few weeks into school and I hope school hasn't been treating you guys too badly.
Now that I'm in sem 2.2.. I can safely say that blocking teaching is reaaaally uhm, something. Although there are fewer subjects and no exams (hurray!), it kinda feels as though the school is trying to cram everything into that skull of yours. During the tougher days it just feels as though your brain is filled to the brim and everything else just flows past. And that usually comes with the stoned zombified expression you'll have on your face. Not a pretty sight. Hahah. But yeah, it's not easy handling block teaching along with a cca, but still managable as long as you're not hooked onto any online game or WOW or something. (i hear the groans already)
Oh anyway, for those who are interested in 3D, there was this talk by autodesk yesterday which from what I heard, was really good. The newer version of Maya seems like it's gonna be pretty awesome. I know I'm not helping for those who didn't go but.. yeah neither did I. Hahah. Whaaaat...Had plans to go out whaaaat.
But yeah, apparently we missed out. Hahah. Oh wells, next time then. I wonder if the school would even buy maya 2009 for us anyway. But of course there are.. other ways, if you know what I mean. :p
Okay lunch calls.
Helloooouuuuuu people!
ok im blogging this because

1. I'm super bored with absolutely nothing to do.
2. Actually i have my work to do but im too dam lazy to complete it.
3. Blog looks a leeetle dead.
4. Im not sure either.

Ah well. First week of school just went past. Meeting new teachers, new friends, but yet at the same time catching up with the old friends and laughing at/with them.
Doing block teaching now, which basically means cramming 2 sems worth or work into 1 sem, which as you can tell its... not very good.
Its only the first week. Cant bear to think of whats gonnna happen in the near future.

And the boredom has actually crept up to my mind. I cant think of anything to write. oh well.

Research have shown that 9 out of 10 Singaporeans believe that out of ten Singaporeans one will always disagree with the other nine.
Hey peeps!

We're coming to the end of the OSIP attachment. 3 months really did fly by quickly. Anyway, just a quick update on the happenings here. Bernard (our supervisor) took us to Langkawi for a vacation. We were all excited on the crystal clear green sea and white sandy beach. However, the weather was against us and all it did was pour. But anyway, we did have fun battling the waves, and burrying one another in the sand.

A picture of Penang. We were in the ferry leaving Penang, heading towards Langkawi.

so anyway, we battled the waves like i said and headed off to dinner. Oh, we brought 2 underwater cameras so we did take many photos but they're yet to be developed. I'll upload them as soon as possible.

So second day came and we headed off to ride the cable car. BUT weather decided to be against us again and it poured. So the cable car station wasn't functioning. We found a place to ride / feed elephants. Obviously the latter is cheaper so thats what we did.

And after feeding the elephant, we headed off and found rabbits and deers feeding station!

These were just some of the things we did in Langkawi. Need more updates? Visit my blog for more pictures!

So anyway, we got back to Penang and it was MunYee's birthday! We took her to a restaurant called TGIF and celebrated her birthday there. Here's a short video of her birthday celebration compiled with pictures.

And so the week went on and our housemate, Joyce decided to bring home a little kitty. She's been staying with us for almost two weeks and boy has she grown. She's really cute. Here're some photos of her.

Ah wells, that should be the end of the post. Looking forward to going back for good. All in all, I'd say its a good experience these past 3 months and the 6 of us has surely grown in many ways. Next to come, MAJOR PROJECT!

Cheers!
Spotted this on my way out but was not able to catch the whole message as I was rushing for time.
