Week 3

Hey all!

It's week 3 now. School's been alright so far I guess?

Being a year 3, we've to do business electiveS.

We've to do proposals and reports. Quite tiring I might say. It is even more tiring than doing 3D itself. I must say though I miss being with my old class. Sure new class means meeting new classmates and making new friends. But its like everyone has a different timetable now so it is quite hard to have lunch or dinner together. Just my thoughts (:

I recently was invited to this event hosted by Autodesk Singapore. In case some of you don't know, Autodesk is the company who made programs like Maya, 3D Studio Max, etc. So anyway, Raymond and I were invited. Raymond burnt a copy of his works to show it to some of the big 'players' that will be attending the event. This event however was just to show about the new stuff in Maya 2008 Extension 2 and 3D Studio Max 2009. It was mostly for networking and meeting new people in the 3D industry. Playware - a 3D game company was there as well. Raymond showed his works and we learnt a lot from the big guys.

I guess nothing's much now. I've just been given a new project to deal with. This term is actually more exciting than I thought.
